The cycle Strand consists of 4 individual work series: Strand I – Strand IV
Each of the series
- consist of works with a duration of approximately 8 minutes.
- is based on a different compositional approach, made with the CAC program PWGL.
- uses a spectral pitch concept
- is based on a solo piece by the four different instruments:
- flute
- clarinet
- violin
- violoncello
- has an individual type of live electronic based on the acoustic information from the soloist instrument (sound recording, pitch tracking, dynamic etc.)
- can be performed in several different versions.
